Job Posting for Supervisor, Maintenance Shift
- Gainesville Service Center*
The maintenance shift supervisor is responsible for shift activities and
operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Thoroughly informed and knowledgeable of the procedures and forms
contained in the Repair Station#s Policies and Quality Procedures Manual
(PQPM). Thoroughly informed and knowledgeable of the applicable federal
regulations governing the work he/she performs
Adheres to the procedures and forms contained in the PQPM. Ensure
subordinate personnel adhere to the procedures and forms contained in
the PQPM. Notifying the Chief Inspector and/or Maintenance Manager of
matters of non compliance with the PQPM or parts of 14 CFR
Assignment of maintenance work flow at the shift level. Adherence of
Employee Health and Safety Programs. Adherence of work
(Maintenance/Alterations) process and process documentation. Adherence
of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Assign Maintenance Tasks & Duties at the shift level: Aircraft Repair,
Aircraft Alteration, Manage work flow of aircraft in hangar, and overall
hangar loading at the shift level, Manage documentation of aircraft in
work, Ensures subordinate employees adhere to the applicable
regulations, Ensures subordinate employees adhere to the applicable
procedures contained in the PQPM, Compliance with facility safety
programs, organization, and housekeeping supporting the output of an
airworthy product, Compliance with work processes and the use of
the appropriate data in the performance of aircraft maintenance and
inspection, Compliance with work processes and the use of the
appropriate tooling and equipment in the performance of aircraft
maintenance and inspection, Notifies Chief Inspector and/or Maintenance
Manager of known maintenance related schedule conflicts involving
incoming or departing aircraft.
