Supply Chain Logistics Manager
CEi seeks a Supply Chain Logistics Manager for its Sacramento, CA office. POSITION SUMMARY: Provides leadership in and management of integrated logistics support (ILS) for aerial target systems; manages/supervises government (bonded stores) warehouse(s); overall coordination of maintenance planning, supply support, support equipment, test equipment, technical data, computer resources support, facilities, packaging, handling, storage, transportation, design interface, training/training support, and manpower requirements. Overall goal of the individual is to ensure the system is affordable (lowest life cycle cost), operable, supported, and sustained through proactive leadership and management. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops statements of work for, supports negotiations of, and manages implementation of, Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contracts. Develops training plans to support new customers. Supervises wholesale warehouse personnel and processes. Supervises personnel assigned to forward logistics locations. Provides recommendations to Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) activities to ensure CLS activities are properly incorporated. Oversees implementation of approved ECP CLS activities. Supports implementation of initial subcontractor repair contracts as required. Provides guidance for development of repair contract purchase orders. Oversees expenditures of CLS Time and Material CLINs (e.g., out-of-warranty repair) as required. Spearheads identification of Line Replaceable Units (LRU) for new platforms. Supports initial spares and follow-on spares quantity recommendations for new/existing platforms. Assists Programs and Business Development with development of proposals. Travels to provide guidance, support and training.TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing/Operations 5 - 7+ years experience managing/supporting government logistics or acquisition logistics programs. 4 years experience managing ISO procedures (logistics/inventory control). Experience/knowledge/understanding of the ten ILS planning elements Ability to manage/interface with a staff of buyers, production planners and logistics personnel and provide effective direction, leadership, and team building. Knowledge of the market place and customer needs, objectives, and expectations. Demonstrated abilities to plan, prioritize and delegate work assignments. Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management and individual contributors. Must be highly proficient with MS Office and adept with MRP/ERP software. 1. Ability to travel with short notice.2. Possess or able to obtain US Government security clearance and US Passport/VISA. Additional Desired Skills:1. Experience with Government problem reporting systems.2. Experience with development of contracts and good negotiation skills. 3. Familiarity with ITAR requirements.4. Familiarity/experience with certification requirements for storage of explosives.
