That's why we're here. Supply Chain Management Analyst 4 Position Description Provide on-site supply chain support to 787 Airframe Partner. Guide integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions. Lead cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques. Present analysis of performance measurements to senior managers. Investigates complex ordering conditions. Develop and implements new ordering methodologies. Ensure organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations. Create complex schedules. Develop materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Identify, analyze, develop and implement best practices, processes and procedures for SCM. Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies. Lead teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute. Work under minimal direction. [ + ] Project Management Extensive experience in creating comprehensive multi-tiered project schedules for significant Business Unit projects; identifies time frames for key project milestones and ensure alignment of sub tier activities for overall project visibility, tracking and completion. Directs and manages very complex project schedules requiring interfacing with multi regional or international activities. Independently identifies project resource requirements, integrate and direct multi project elements into a single collective overall project plan. Collaborates with others on the most complex projects assigned. Ability to direct, delegate and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a project team leader in support of the overall large scale and complex projects. Identifies and resolves any issues and provide solutions and or recommendations to ensure the successful completion of the project. Technical [ + ] Analytical Skills Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources with clients, customers and/or suppliers. [ + ] Information Technology Fluency Extensive and specialized ability in the use of personal and network computing hardware and software to maintain and direct project information, such as, statements of work, resource identification and usage, task status, cost estimating and tracking, etc. Extensive and specialized knowledge of processes and tools to maintain, archive, and retrieve digital files. Extensive and specialized ability in constructing/building and providing reports and presentation material as needed for assigned projects. Extensive and specialized knowledge of identifying and gaining approval of testing of established applications to meet project requirements. [ + ] Material Requirements Planning Possesses extensive and specialized knowledge of Material Requirements Planning concepts and systems (e.g., planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times). [ + ] Supply Chain Knowledge Extensive working knowledge of supply chain requirements (e.g., replenishment, repairs, cycle time, inventory levels, scrap rate, pricing, suppliers, contracts) and the affect on the business and profitability. Uses knowledge to recommend appropriate improvements and positively impact business results. [ + ] Supply Chain Strategy Expert knowledge of supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction). Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree and 10 to 14 years' related work experience, a Master's degree and 8 to 12 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Should be innovative, able to manage multiple priorities and tasks, and highly effective in a fast-paced, pioneering environment. A demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate dynamic groups with complex objectives is critical.
