Job Description

As Supply Chain Manager you will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for all supply chain activities, including management of prime customer contracts, all suppliers, production control and inventory management. Responsibilities include compliance with all contractual requirements, management of contract changes, contract negotiations, direct customer interface, oversight of all purchasing, scheduling, inventory, shipping and receiving. You will be responsible to coordinate purchasing functions to assure the timely, economical and accurate purchase of needed materials, parts, equipment, services and operating supplies.  The Supply Chain Manager ensures compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures, fosters good working relationships with customers and promotes, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Position requires a true team player with a high energy level.

 

 

You will have a Contract administrator, Buyer, Scheduler, shipping and receiving personnel reporting directly to you.

 

JOB DUTIES:


Contract Management

•Responsible for all commercial proposals and negotiations associated with existing contracts

•Responsible to manage all changes to existing contracts
•Communicate, coordinate and monitor contract performance requirements with senior management

•Responsible for the administration of existing commercial purchase agreements

 

Supply Management
•Drive reduction on manufacturing lead-time.
•Ensure efficient integration of orders into the production planning and scheduling
•Ensure operational purchasing activities are in line with production requirements.
•Conduct the reconciliation meeting to focus on key supply decisions needed to support demand

•Ensure demand visibility and clear set of assumptions

•Assurance of adequate parts supply

 

Inventory Management

•Parts and supplies management
•Conduct the weekly demand and supply operations alignment

 

Production Control

•Provide order visibility from order entry to delivery receipt

•Responsible for all master planning and master scheduling activities

•Manage all customer returns

•Manage all shipping and receiving activities

 

 

 

Qualifications:   •Have at least 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Commercial Contracts Management, Procurement or related Logistics Functions

•Bachelors degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university

•Prior Management or supervisory experience required

•Evidence of good oral and written communication skills
