Supply Chain Specialist III (003.08S)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

7 years experience in Supply Chain function or equivalent preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.  BS degree with strong analytical content (e.g., math, statistics, business) or equivalent combination of experience and education.  Demonstrated high proficiency in Excel including ability to use pivot tables, lookups, and data sorting.  Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications.  MRP system knowledge and SQL code understanding a plus.  Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) to work with internal/external vendors and customers.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Monitors/develops/implements and provides process improvements for the movement of materials and parts through the entire manufacturing cycle from the requisition of raw materials to the delivery of the finished product to the customer.  Coordinates and sets priorities with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, other locations, as required, and suppliers to ensure the flow of product.  Maintains factory-wide detailed production schedules and regularly balances production requirements with inventory forecasts.  Will be expected to work directly with vendors through the placing of purchase orders and confirmation of schedule commitments for certain commodities.  Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
