Supply Clerk

This job description reflects AWB management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Description The Supply Clerk  reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager to provide accountability and inventory control of AWB materials delivered to the Owego, NY.  Position provides liaison with the customer at the operational site, expedites the supply chain, provides inventory control, accountability for Retrofit After Delivery (RAD) kits and spares.  This position requires the incumbent to be the Earned Value Management (EVM) site representative for AWB in controlling schedule adherence to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.   Responsibilities · Reports directly to the AWB Manager, Supply Chain on all issues associated with the supply chain · Execution of the AWB VH71 supply chain, (within and external to the closed loop Yankee White system) compliance with agreed standards, time scales and costs regarding Program Management plans, risk, quality management, health and safety, etc· Ensure sufficient consumables are requested and verify their shelf life.· Receive removed parts deemed obsolete and control them until properly disposition by AWB via their government property procedures.· Report status of kits on a regular basis to local RAD lead and AWB Supply Chain Manager.· Monitor and update AWB SAP systems as available.· Control retrofit kits through signed documents and order replacement parts as necessary.· Create documentation for kit delivery and present to local RAD team lead for acceptance.· Control and monitor RAD kit status through local master file.· Participate in RAD review meetings and provide updates/status on kits· Coordinate and manage the AWB supply chain for effective schedule adherence· Liaison with customers, at operational sites and business partners through Integrated Product Team (IPT) participation and compliant business practices · Expediting / troubleshooting the supply chain when variances occur· Adhere to Statements of Work (SOW) for supply chain solutions · Support the delivery of the contractual Key Performance Indicator’s/Milestones to achieve targeted award fees· Communicate any issues and decisions that impact upon customers / stakeholders. · Maintain control over Inventory Management system for the VH71 air vehicle· Maintain control over Retrofit After Delivery (RAD) inventory and process· Recommend Statistical Analyses of the supply chain  Basic Qualifications · 2 -5 years of relevant supply chain experience in an industrial aviation environment· Ability to travel both domestically and internationally on short notice Desired Skills · Demonstrate substantial technical knowledge/expertise and sound business judgment.· Possess the ability to identify capability and capacity issues that may arise in the execution and discharge of planned and potential projects and tasks  · Manage and resolve any identified capability and capacity issues in a timely manner to facilitate successful discharge of that workload  · Ensure projects undertaken are resourced sufficiently to enable their effective technical execution, and to satisfy the requirements of the business and/or stakeholders· Familiarity with US Government contracts and application of FAR, DFARS, and ITAR· Familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Desired Experience · Working knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean processes· Materials management experience.· SAP MRP Special Considerations ·  Positions at AgustaWestlandBell (AWB) require U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances.  Additional DoD clearances may be required. Work Conditions · Controlled high security environment· Extended working hours Security Clearance · Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information AgustaWestlandBell, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/D/V)     Company: AgustaWestlandBell, LLC Location: Owego, NY 13827 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Logistics/Transportation Occupations: Shipping and Receiving/Warehousing Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Entry Level Industry: Aerospace and Defense;Government and Military Company: AgustaWestlandBell, LLC Referece Code: AWB-5026A08
