Job Category: Installation/Maintenance/Repair Job Requisition Number: Q10936 Position Description:The Field Service Technician will provide Tier 2 support to both local and remote users to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests. The Field Service Technician will have the following responsibilities:Provide desktop support for both applications and hardware.Build, test, and install desktop and laptop systems.Research and diagnosis problems.Provide customer service and end-user training.Implement workarounds and conduct break-fix techniques.Provide conference room support for meetings, audio visual and VTC.Support the Asset, Change and Configuration Management processes. Must Have the Following: US Citizen. The candidate should have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in the desktop computing environment. The candidate should be comfortable relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. 4+ Years with HS or 1+ Years with AA. The candidate should have good communication skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize time, and work independently and on a team. Prefer to Have the Following: Printer repair and maintenance experience. Dell and HP desktop/laptop experience. LAN Networking experience A+ Certification.
