System Administrator - Day Shift

Position Title:  Systems Administrator III

Location:  Annapolis Junction, MD

Job Description:

·  Provide configuration management, inventory management, fault management, and trouble management support on already established servers or networks.

·  Provides configuration support documentation relative to server and data center configurations (firmware, patch levels, etc.).

·  Provides configuration and documentation support for upgrading and integrating hardware and software into the production data center environment.

·  Maintains and supplies appropriate documentation, upon request. Researches and gathers information to create documentation; revises as appropriate. May provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

 

Minimum Requirements:

·  Develops and provides documentation of the system specifications, system installation procedures.

·  This individual must have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, must be analytical, and knowledge of change control and configuration managment concepts preferred.

·  Must have the ability to create, compile, and deliver complex system documentation packages and be detailed oriented.

 

NOTE: This position is for a Server Systems Administrator for the Day shift (Monday through Friday), with additional shift and/or on-call availability as needed.
