System Administrator (Systems Engineer)

Positions are located in multiple locations and they are: Hampton, VA, Sacramento, CA, Suitland, MD, El Paso, TX, and Stuttgart, Germany

Integrate MTCSC developed suites of multivendor systems consisting of 1) VMware Virtual Machines of Windows Servers including SharePoint, SQL Server, Oracle, and 2003 Domain Controllers, 2) CommVault and Data Domain backup capabilities, 3)NetApp SAN, and 4) Google Search Appliances all to be installed at various locations CONUS and OCONUS.

Sys Admin/Eng billet also required daily systems administration of the DIB suite.

Typical duties will include:
o General Domain Administration
 1. Establishing two way trust
 2. Applying security policies
 3. Perform Backup and recovery using CommVault
 4. Disaster Recovery using CommVault and SQL Maintenance plans
 5. Security Patch Management
 6. AD Troubleshooting
o Virtual Infrastructure Client 3 Administration of ESX Servers
 1. Installing ESX server
 2. Cloning VMs
 3. Establishing virtual hard drives
 4. Extending hard drives
 5. Troubleshooting
o Configuring SAN’s
 1. LUN creation
 2. Snapshot settings

TS/SCI Clearance
Education: Related College degree desirable but not required.
Experience (yrs): At least 5 years System Administrator in a Windows 2000/2003 Domain environment supporting a large number of Windows Servers.

Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

Experience (technologies):
1. Active Directory integration in a multi-Domain environment
2. Security Template Creation and distribution/deployment
3. Experienced with DNS, DHCP, WINS, and GPOs
4. Virtual Machine technology (Microsoft or VMware)
5. Installation, configuration, and service of rack mounted servers.
6. Network configuration and cabling

• Windows System Administrator for 10 yrs in a large enterprise environment.
• Microsoft Certification (MCP, MCSA, MCSE) desirable.
• Trained in Virtual Infrastructure 3 and other VMware products.
• Experienced in software deployment using SMS or other similar products.
• Experienced in Security Patch Management using WSUS or other similar application.

Knowledge of sharepoint, VM ware, Windows Server 2003 and active directory are desired.
