System Engineer-C4I

_ ITT Communications Systems (CS)Candidate will support the Navy Strike Group assigned during various phases of readiness and deployment. Expected duties for the position will include remediation of system outages and coordination with stakeholders. Provide technical/operational guidance and development of best practices while monitoring performance as it relates to key C4I systems. The candidate will interface with members of afloat Strike Group staffs, squadrons and ship personnel. The selected candidate will be part of a team supporting Team SPAWAR as an Afloat Fleet Systems Engineer. Approximately 25% travel required.ITT designs and integrates voice and data communications equipment into end-to-end network solutions and provides military products and professional services to the United States Marine Corps, the US Navy, and the US Army. Education Required: Bachelors Degree or 8 years relevant experience in Afloat Navy or Marine Corps C4I. Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications desired. Information Assurance (IA) certifications desired.Experience Required: Prior supervisory or management experience in the IT field. Experience in Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange 2000/2003.Knowledge Required: Familiar with configuring/troubleshooting Cisco Routers, Alcatel Switches, TCP/IP, and security protocols.
