System Safety Engineer to support Programs at NASA/MSFC

Job Duties & Requirements:

System Safety Ares Launch Vehicle Engineering Specialist II Candidate must be able to perform and/or assess hazard analyses to assure that:hazards of the ARES I Upper Stage (Liquid Oxygen/Liquid Hydrogen powered) are identified, the risks characterized, controls identified, and safety verification requirements are clearly identified. The successful candidate will be required to make presentations to technical boards, management review teams, and clients. Minimum of 12 years relevant experience. Familiar with System Safety analysis techniques including Fault Trees, hazard analysis. Must be proficient using Microsoft Word. Experience with CAFTA a plus. BS Eng or AST Equiv 12 yrs relevant exp
