Systems Analyst (3511)

Location Marlborough MAJob Responsibilities Are you a Linux expert? Do you have a current Secret clearance or are you clearable? Would you like to support a team of dedicated engineers in a lab environment? If you answered YES, YES, YES then this may be the opportunity for you! We have an immediate need for a Systems Analyst to provide desktop and server Linux support (Debian, Red Hat, SUSE). You’ll provide support of both classified and unclassified networks and various applications such as DOORS and Perforce. You’ll also do some shell scripting. If you have some networking knowledge or Microsoft Windows system administration experience, you’ll be able to leverage that too.Experience/Skills Required Strong Linux knowledgeSecret clearance preferred. Must be clearable.Experience with classified computing systems preferred.Experience planning, installing, and maintaining hardware and network equipment preferred.Experience with server and desktop backup applications and procedures preferred.Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) (with emphasis on Chapter 8 requirements), the NISPOM Supplement, the Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCIDs), DoD 5105.21-M-1, and Joint DODIIS Standards would be ideal but is not required.Must be able to work independently and as part of a teamEducationBachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.Completion of the Defense Security Service Academy (DSSA) Information Systems Security Courses, to include the NISPOM Chapter 8 Requirements (IS 201.01) and the NISP Network Security Basics (IS 302.02) is a plus but is not required.Education Requirements BA/BSTravel Required Up to 25 percentUS Citizenship Required?
