Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: Engineering Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree SYSTEMS ANALYST (CONTROLS)Mechanical or Aeronautical EngineeringJOB DUTIES: The engineering position is working on primary, secondary, or high lift flight control systems on the 737 Next Generation model airplanes.  The group's charter is the design responsibility & support of the entire product life-cycle of the Flight Controls value chain for the 737 Next Generation airplanes.  The team supports Manufacturing by helping to resolve technical issues as it pertains to rigging, system functional testing, system troubleshooting, & resolving chronic or emergent design & build issues.  The group also supports validation testing, certification, delivery, and fleet operations through interactive communications, managing, & resolving design and safety related issues.  This team is also responsible for product development work, both from a design and program management aspects.  The team holds itself accountable for improving processes & quality through the implementation of Lean Engineering strategies and methods. The contract persons filling these positions are to be flexible and support these business initiativesJOB SKILLS: The applicant must have some aerospace engineering experience.  Applicant must be a degreed engineer, preferably in the field of mechanical or aeronautical engineering.  It¿s desired that the applicant have approximately 5 years or more mechanical design and analysis experience. Strong CAD/CATIA V4 skills are desire in order to accomplish many of the work assignments.  Job position is tailored to people who enjoy working in a team environment & can work effectively with people on a one-on-one basis.  Person must have good communication, collaboration skills, & be willing to work with a diverse network of people & cross-functional teams.  This job is tailored to people who enjoy working with mechanisms as well as with entire electric-hydraulic-mechanical systems. On occasion the person must be willing to work flexible hours in support of emergent short-term needs or completion of larger-scale program scheduled releases.  The position is with the Renton Flight Controls Design and Production Support Site team located in Renton Washington.Person must have an engineering degree in either mechanical or aeronautics engineering with 7 or more years experience.CLA COMMENTS:
