The Flight Management Systems Team of Universal Avionics Systems Corporation is looking to add a Systems Engineer to the group.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in the full life cycle development of avionics systems including; architecture, development, specifications, verification, writing requirements and test procedures as well as knowledge of the regulatory requirements and methods of compliance. Excellent verbal and written communications, planning, teamwork and organizational skills are a must. Requires a BS degree in science or engineering and/or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of flight management systems, advanced cockpits, navigation systems, cockpit operations and automation, aircraft interfaces, systems integration, aircraft performance and control, human factors and DO-178B is highly desirable. Excellent people skills as well as the ability to organize and lead a team. An MS degree in science or engineering.
