Systems Engineer (EN)

 

Will serve as technical focal point for the integration, validation and delivery of IFE systems to airline customers.  Will coordinate and facilitate all engineering activities required to support the airline IFE installation program, including documentation and communication of requirements, preparation and monitoring of schedules, and definition of physical architecture and system interconnect.  Develop and update existing test plans and perform testing of IFE systems for customer software releases.  Prepare documentation of system performance, including configuration, test procedures, test results,defects and overall assessment.  Conduct systems integration, verification and validation reviews, including Test Readiness Review, FSAT Readiness Review, Final System Acceptance Test, FSAT Completion Review.

 

Position requirements include:

-5+ years experience with OEM system requirements and validation methodologies for IFE systems;familiarity with IFE installation and troubleshooting

-BSEE or equivalent desired

-must be comfortable with extensive customer interface

-must be willing to travel as required to support program meetings and installations

-strong written and verbal communication skills
