Systems Engineer (LITT)

Sierra Nevada Corporation is looking to hire multiple Systems Engineers.

Must have 2 or more years experience as a Systems Engineer.  Responsible for leading the technical development and integration of complex intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems for both manned and unmanned platforms. Must have a working knowledge of electrical engineering, RF, Networks, and integration of hardware onto platforms. Must be capable of assuming primary leadership responsibilities during requirements development, system architecture development, preliminary and detailed design, simulation and modeling, construction, and test and integration efforts. Must be able to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment which emphasizes rapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities.

Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Active Secret Clearance preferred. Must be willing to travel a minimum of 25%.

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific field of study or equivalent experience.  Master’s degree preferred. 

An average of one to five years work experience in positions involving design and development of system architectures, hardware configuration items, or software configuration items typical of those required in SNC development programs is typical. 

A demonstrated ability to successfully perform at the Associate Engineer level for a minimum period of one year is required.
