That's why we're here. Systems Engineer Support Analyst 3/4 Position Description Operations controller for the Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) program located in Huntsville, Alabama. Support program operations and sustainment including scheduling and interfacing with internal and external customers. The responsibilities include integration and analysis planning. Must develop and maintain strong customer relationships, prepare and present status briefings, resolve issues, and risk analysis. Researches, analyzes, and compiles complex technical data for the GMD program in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle. Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product. Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives. Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes. Has frequent contacts with external government agencies and interacts regularly with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. [ + ] Product Knowledge Basic - Complete knowledge of product/service value stream. Preferred -Extensive and specialized knowledge of the user role, user domain, and user skill level to effectively work with and represent the end user within the company. Education and/or Experience Level 3 - Bachelor's degree and typically 5 to 8 years' related work experience or a Master's degree with 3 to 6 years' or a PhD degree with 0 to 3 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Level 4 - Bachelor's degree and typically 9 to 13 years' related work experience or a Master's degree with 7 to 11 years' related work experience or a PhD degree with 4 to 8 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
