Systems Engineering Management Family (F,E,D)

Plan and lead systems engineering and technical task coordination required for project success. Coordinate EFV systems engineering activities across all SE domains contributing to the EFV, including functional architecture, system architecture, physical architecture, concurrent and specialty engineering integration. Additional responsibilities: -Coordination, review and approval of EFV SE deliverables. -Planning and conducting of trade studies, peer reviews, and technical reviews. -Coordinating and executing customer requested tasks. -Integrated Process System (IPS) roll out, training, and audit preparations. -Risk management identification, tracking, and mitigation activities. -Checkpoint review agenda development, meeting minute's preparation, and action item tracking. -Schedule planning and integration -Proposal Development activities such as Statement of Work (SOW) and Basis of Estimates (BOE).Job Requirements: -Previous experience applying systems engineering principles to real world projects is essential. -Ability to excel in a fast paced dynamic environment. -Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required. -Experience as a team leader in multi-discipline multi-location distributed team environment is desired. -Experience in ISO and CMMI activities related to system engineering is desired. -Experience with decision trees, structured decisons processes, and applications is essential. - Must be experienced in the definition and execution of system and susbsystem level checkpoint reviews. -Moderate travel will be required. -Hold or be able to a secret clearance.Required Education: BSSubmit Your Resume Online NowGeneral Dynamics Land Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Title:   Systems Engineering Management Family (F,E,D) Location:   US-MI-Detroit Job Category:   Engineering Requisition Number:   STR-LF-08-6547 Career Level:   Experienced (Non-Manager)
