Systems and Technology Analyst (SSAG)

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is a growing professional services firm with a 30-year record of providing top-level decision makers with timely and objective assessments that integrate the technical, operational, programmatic, policy, and business aspects of national security issues. 

SPA's Strategic Systems Analysis Group is seeking an Analyst to contribute to emerging needs for technical and program management support, technology assessments, requirements analysis, and operational concepts develoment applicable to submarines, undersea warfare, and integration of new payloads. 

This position will provide important technical, programmatic, and analytic support to decision-makers for future naval and joint capabilities. 

Work involves interaction with numerous DoD activities, including Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), NAVSEA, Navy Staff, Fleet Staff, Office of Naval Research (ONR), DARPA and others. 

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred; a Master's degree is a plus.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-7 years experience in:
 - Navy submarine operations or
 - Design, procurement, testing and employment of submarine systems in the conduct of undersea warfare or special operations

Knowledge of requirements planning, capability effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and problem solving is a plus. 

Must be proficient with MS Office.  Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
