Team Ldr II Config Analysis
Provide direction to Configuration Management Team in applying and administering CM processes on program as directed. This includes the configuration identification, control, status accounting and auditing for development and operational systems. Ensure that internal configuration control forums are administered according to CM process. Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures. Required Skills: -4+ years performing configuration management with at least 2 years experience leading a team -Specific experience in the generation, evaluation, coordination and boarding of change mechanisms (e.g. RFCs, ECPs) through Customer/Engineering CCB forums. -Experience in the administration of internal configuration control forums, such as CCBs and ERBs, including the creation and release of agendas, review packages, results, and posting of said data to a website. -Experience in applying customer CM processes and procedures to system-level, element/segment development level, and deployed system contracts. This experience must include: statusing, maintaining, and reviewing change mechanisms for content, impact, and format; maintaining a database used to review the status of pending changes as well as to research the disposition of changes which have been boarded through the customer’s CCB. -Experience applying CM processes and procedures across a geographically dispersed environment. -Experience in application of configuration identification to development and operational baselines, maintaining the configuration status of the baselines, and controlling changes to the baselines. -Experience in preparing for and participating in the conduct of configuration baseline audits (e.g., FCA, PCA, Pre-Ship, Transition). -Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the generation and presentation of briefing packages to program management and customers. -P roficient in the use of MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access. - Existing TS/SCI clearance Desired Skills: - Working and demonstrable knowledge of customer security and configuration management policies and procedures - Proficient in evaluation of RFQs/RFPs for CM requirements and generation of CM sections meeting those requirements - T echnical editing, formatting, and proofreading - Administration of action item systems - Proficient in evaluation of program documents for impact to CM processes - C ertification in Configuration Management II - Experience with LiveLink and/or XEROX DocuShare a plus - E xperience training other CDM team members - Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist Certification Required Education(including Major): Bachelor's of Science degree in Business or equavalent field.
