Team Leader

The company designs and builds armored vehicles and subsystems for the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and international customers, and is the defense industry's largest supplier of armored military vehicles.Description of Work: Identify detailed description of work Lead, train, coach and develop personnel to ensure capabilities to meet performance requirements Oversee daily operations including Oracle/DMIS transactions, material movement and depot interface. Prepare daily status and briefings for presentation to senior management. Create an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team work while meeting budget goals. Interface positively with the internal and external customers Work as an integrated member of the team to perform inventory control, material movement and other related tasks. Identify performance metrics and operating plans to achieve the metrics. Assist in project definition and management as needed. Perform first echelon supervisory functions for the team including assignments of work, timecard approval, work scheduling and performance reporting.Job Requirements: Bachelor Degree required 5-10 years experience preferred; Must be a strong leader. Must have strong organizational skills. Work experience must include background in manufacturing or field service repair. PC proficiency in MS Office suite, DMIS and Oracle operating systems. Be able to obtain government security clearance (secret).
