Bring your talent and skills to the following IDS team: Systems Architecture, Design, and Integration Directorate - SADID With the integration of parts of four separate Systems Engineering organizations we have become the largest SE Center within Raytheon. Our primary mission will be to improve our performance on our Product Programs (e.g., radars, torpedoes) while at the same time establishing IDS as the premier organization for System Integrator Programs. Our recent DDG 1000 and CAC2S wins, coupled with prior LPD, weapon systems, and combat systems programs gives us the critical mass to lead this charter for IDS and Raytheon. The Directorate will participate in the IDS Engineering concept of operation (CONOPS) that will include assignment of a focal point to each product line from within an individual Engineering Center . Each of these individuals will have the responsibility to coordinate all IDS engineering activities across all Centers for his/her assigned product line to insure that the needs of each product line are always addressed. These individuals will participate in the daily activities of their assigned product line and will provide continuity and communication between product lines and engineering. Job Description: As a summer intern, you will have the opportunity to participate as a member of a multi-discipline team of talented and knowledgeable software engineers who support Government needs, including Space Situational Awareness and Missile Defense. Specific tasks to be accomplished will be determined by the level of coursework completed.
