Yoh Aviation has a contract opportunity for a Technical Designer to join our customer in Everett, Renton or Seattle, WA.

Job Duties:
• Practices wide application of company and industry design and documentation processes and standards to design minor components or portions of major systems.
• Develops complete major layouts of engineering designs.
• Modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing processes.
• Gathers information, makes studies, and prepares original rough sketches used by others to prepare final documentation.
• Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems using established organizational policies, practices, and procedures for guidance.
• Independently determines and develops approach to accomplishing work statement.
• Plans, schedules, and arranges own activities under general direction and provides work statement instructions to others. Assignments are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Frequently coordinates design criteria and process development requirements with inter-organizational contacts, such as engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups; and outside customers and suppliers.
• Occasionally represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. 

Skills and Experience Needed:
• V5 and ENOVIA skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of design principles and concepts.
