Technical Trainer

This is a temporary position with the expectation of continued employment.Synopsis of the Program The Air & Space Operations Center Weapons System Integrator (AOC WSI) program provides a smooth migration from the 40+ current AOC subsystems into a unified system. The system will be developed at two sites ( Colorado Springs, CO and Hampton, VA ), and deployed at various customer sites around the world. Job Description: Description: Training Support for Fielding As a member of the Air and Space Operations Center Weapon System Integrator (AOC WSI) training team, will work in a collaborative environment with the Air and Space Operations Center Weapon System (AOC WS) Training Community, and stake holders. Will provide direct interface with customers and subject matter experts to conduct analyses; determine client's needs, and assist with the development of appropriate learning outcomes. Perform a variety of duties in support of Type 1Training including but not limited to: · Provide fielding support related to Type 1 training when required including participation in site surveys and fielding activities · Work with the WSI to ensure training involvement in the total WS integration process including requirements, contracting, application design and development, testing, fielding, and sustainment · Support efforts toward evolving a comprehensive, integrated training framework for the AOC Required Skills: · Experience with Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) environment · Experience with training coordination and delivery · Knowledge/experience with Air Force Training management · Secret Clearance (current)Qualifications Security Clearance Required: SECRET Desired Experience: -TOP SECRET clearance desired -Knowledge/Experience of AOC applications (based on use in an AOC) -Knowledge/Experience of training, training technology. adult learning theory, educational theory and practice - Skill in a variety of office applications such as WORD, Power Point, and Excel -Requires Travel Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5 years of experience working with training-related functions or administration.
