Our Battelle Albany Georgia Operation specializes in providing support to government organizations engaged in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear, Defense (CBRN-D). Battelle is seeking CBRN-D equipment Quality Assurance Specialists in Tracy, CA. for full-time, regular shift work on the Joint Equipment Assessment Program (JEAP). Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. The selected candidate will work at the Defense Logistics Agency facility in Tracey, CA. Their Principle duties will include: - Sample, inspect, repair and assess CBRN-D assets. - Familiar with Defense Chemical Test Equipment. Additionally, the selected candidate will be expected to assist other staff members in specific areas pertaining to the mission of the JEAP, as well as to accept certain administrative functions, as necessary, to ensure smooth functioning of the operation. Minimal travel is anticipated. Candidate resumes must demonstrate the following minimum requirements in order to be forwarded for consideration: - Training in or experience with hazardous Material Handling. - Knowledge of CBRN-D equipment shelf life. - Trained or experienced in inspecting CBRN-D Equipment for serviceability - Trained or experienced in warehousing operations - Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. - Ability to continuously bend, lift, and transport up to 40 pounds during the work shift. - Ability to stand and walk up to 50% of the work shift. - Ability to follow oral and written instructions necessary for job performance. - Medically fit to perform assigned duties. - Operating knowledge of pallet movers. Capable of obtaining and maintaining a Common Access Card (CAC) - Additional selection criteria will include the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to work successfully as part of a team.
