Job Title: Test Engineer Staff (2008-7-27)

Job Responsibilities:

- Design and develop test procedures and equipment for functional circuit board, unit, and system tests.

- Will be responsible for the Electrical design, mechanical concept, specifications, documentation, and test procedures for PC base test systems.

- Capture schematic with Protel schematic and circuit board layout using Cadence design tool.

- Developing Automation Software for PCBA functional and system Diagnostic test.

- Provide DFT review on New Product Introduction and generate DFT report.

- Assisted with the design and implementation of hardware, software, and test equipment to test prototype and production builds.

- Provide both hardware and test software support to production in supporting of failure analysis and line stop resolution.

- Assist Manufacturing to perform component failure analysis at System level and down to component level.

- Work closely designs team during DVT (Design Verification Test) and initial first production builds.

- Provide direct Technical Support to Contract manufacturers (CM), in-house production related with New Product Transition and on-going product Sustaining Engineering Support including training, build test stations, set up and transfer test stations to CM and follow-up failure analysis support.

 

Experience:

- BSEE plus 10 years of experience developing PCBA test fixture, procedures, translating specs to test requirements.

- PC based test equipment design, including Electrical design by using Cadence design tool (refer).

- Also must have knowledge of manufacturing process, and at least 3 years experience in supporting production line (prefer GPS product).

- At least 10 years working on RF, Analog/Digital Electronics products with development, testing and analysis.

- Must have knowledge of design & using Lab View.

- Lab view experience, JTAG experience highly desirable.
