Test Engineers

Execute component and engine level development and qualification tests within budget and on schedule.  Determine the required tests including type, quantity, and method of conduct.  Define type and quantity of engine hardware required to support test activity.  Coordinate with the Test Department to assure adequate facilities, services and resources are available to conduct defined tests on schedule.  Write test requests, test reports, and assembly instructions to build, teardown and inspect the test vehicle. Analyze test results for compliance with requirements.  Prepare cost & schedule estimates and manage project cost accounts

B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years gas turbine engine development experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in gas turbine engine assembly and test required.  Demonstrated project planning and management experience and the ability to work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment required.  Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in oral and written English language communication required. Prefer experience working in engine development and certification programs and familiarity with engine test data acquisition and analysis and engine development instrumentation.  Working knowledge of gas turbine engine hardware configuration control methodology, development hardware procurement, and program/cost management a plus.  Demonstrated problem solving skills, schedule emphasis and sense of urgency preferred
