Tomahawk Engineer

SCCI is currently seeking a Tomahawk Engineer to join our team in King George, VA supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.

Essential Skills and Experience:Working experience with any of the following:System engineering Test and evaluationDevelopment / management of integrated logistics support products including curriculum, training, or end user system documentation such as technical manuals and operational procedures  Ability to effectively interface with the Government customer, engineers, programmers, and fleet personnelMust be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearanceMS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required

Preferred Skills and Experience:Operational experience with a Weapons Control System [Tomahawk Weapons Control System (ATWCS or TTWCS) is preferable]BS in Engineering or similar field

Position Responsibilities:

Interface with system and software engineers through review boards and working groups to provide Tomahawk subject matter expertise and a systems engineering focus for the logistics communityEnsure system changes and modifications are reflected in all logistics products by monitoring developing build definitions and evaluating all software problem report candidates for logistics impactsPerform lab verification and validation, as well as build readiness testing of logistics products Review new or modified weapon system requirements that may potentially impact system operations or maintenance to ensure visibility and coordination within the logistics communitySupport the development of tools and databases to track the status of logistics issues
