Training Device Operations Specialist 3 Flight Simulators Position Description Training Device Operations Specialist responsible for the operation, support and maintenance of commercial flight simulators and related electronic equipment by diagnosing and correcting simulator aberrations, installing modifications and upgrades, calibrating and aligning simulator systems, and configuring simulator hardware and software systems. Support state-of-the-art flight simulators and visual display systems with experience on electronic integrated circuit operation, printed circuit card repair, digital computer technology, a working knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, analog-servo systems and computer-generated visual display systems. Monitors safety or security issues after taking corrective action and ensures continued compliance.Technical [ + ] Aircraft Knowledge Complete knowledge of airplane components, systems and terminology at a GenFam level. [ + ] Training Device Knowledge Complete knowledge of specific training device operation, operational capabilities and limitations, technical and operational issues and support structure. Education and/or Experience AA degree in related discipline and 3 to 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
