Training Manager - Certification & Accreditation Transformation
Position is located in Chantilly, VA OVERVIEW: Intelligence Community Technology Governance – Plans and Policy Division (ICTG-P&PD) requires assistance in implementing a training program to prepare IC agencies to implement the Certification & Accreditation ( C&A) Transformation. The training manager must plan and supervise training to prepare IC organizations and C&A staff to implement the C&A Transformation program. The training manager will provide supervision to the training development process including reviewing training and course materials to ensure accuracy and completeness. The training manager will plan, schedule and supervise training events to ensure IC organizations and their C&A staff are trained in the new processes, procedures and requirements of the C&A Transformation program. The C&A Transformation program will set the course and processes for the Intelligence Community to meet the challenges of today’s network security and IT governance environment. The training effort will prepare IC organizations’ C&A staff to meet those challenges. RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibilities for the ICTG-P&PD C&A Transformation Principal Technical Training Specialist (Training Manager) include: - Manage training efforts to support the C&A Transformation implementation in the IC - Develop training plans to support the C&A Transformation implementation in the IC - Reviewing curricula to ensure they meet C&A Transformation objectives - Review training materials to ensure they provide accurate information and sufficient detail to accomplish program objectives - Coordinate ODNI/CIO support to workshops and conferences - Manage the execution of training through planning, scheduling, and supervising training events - Provide briefings to the IT Governance Boards - Weekly and monthly status reports - Frequent, reimbursed, local area travel to Bolling AFB, DC and Vienna, VA Basic Qualifications - Required Experience, Skills: - BA/BS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, plus six or more years of applicable work experience. - Minimum 6 years experience in developing and or delivering training or training management - Minimum 4 years experience with Information Technology security and Information Assurance - Minimum 4 years experience with Certification & Accreditation - US Citizenship - Current and active Top Secret SCI security clearance with CI polygraph Company & Benefit Information: Raytheon Company, with 2007 sales of $21.3 billion, is a technology leader specializing in defense, homeland security, and other government markets throughout the world.
