For quick consideration apply hereResponsibilities• Manage the IT responsibilities of the Heat Treat (HT) Process Control and Monitor system installation. • Analyze customer requirements (Heat Treat and Metallurgical Lab (etc. to determine the optimum technical solution for the next generation HT control and monitoring system • Oversee installation of Wilson-Mohr / GE-Fanuc system solution and all system integrations in the IT space. • Integrate the new system using a robust, redundant network topology considering client' network standards • Track scheduling of client's project tasks • Assist with software specifications and code generation for system interfaces to the legacy HT system as well as the Metallurgical Lab database. • Assist vendors with legacy system sunset and data archiving transfers and interfaces. • Travel required for acceptance testing of the new system • Location of position Grand Prairie, TX.Required Skills• 1 - 2 of years project management experience. • 5+ years of network design knowledge and experience. • 2+ years of software development experience • 5+ years of Windows operating system knowledge. • 2+ years of manufacturing process knowledge and understanding. • 1+ years of SQL server knowledge and understanding. • 1 – 2 years of machine controller interfacing knowledge. • 5+ years of VMS operating system administration and management skills • 5+ years of operating knowledge of client's current legacy system (Therma-Net).
