Vice President of Business Development

Vice President of Business Development, National Security Division

This individual will report to the division president and be responsible for the growth program at USIS National Security Division. Will be accountable for managing the business development and proposal team, processes and inter-division/corporate growth initiatives.

 
Specific duties include:

• Lead the program to win new business and keep current business
• Own the strategic planning, account and capture management and proposal process
• Maintain business development metrics at a division, group and individual level
• Report to executive team on the business development program
• Lead the bid/no bid decisions
• Provide support and input to corporate development and legislative affairs program
• Participate in cross division business development pursuits
• Manage and coach the business development and proposal team
• Manage growth training programs at all levels

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with 10 Years of Business Development Experience in a Federal Government  environment.
• Advanced Degree in Business or related field (Desired)
• Top Secret Clearance (Required)
• Works well in a team environment
• Aggressive and ambitious with high energy and a passion for success
• Comfortable and effective in briefings and discussions at the senior executive level
