Operates standard computer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print, and store text, illustrations, graphs, charts, etc.. May include operation of still and video cameras for the design and production of photos and video. Formulates concepts and renders illustration and detail from models, sketches, memory, written or verbal instructions and imagination. Selects type, draws lettering, lays out material, or performs related duties. Understands and utilizes graphic formats that are appropriate for specific deliverables. Determines content based on specific instructions.Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required.Required SkillsThis position requires an Associates Degree in Graphic Design/Art or a related field and 5 years of experience.Required ExperienceExcellent coordination, administrative, communication and presentation skills.Stays up-to-date with current and all new technological advances on the systems used. Must have experience working with PCs and Macintosh computers. Must have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS. Must be able to shoot and perform audio/video editing of raw footage using the latest AVID and Final Cut Pro HD editing systems. Integration of still photographs, 2D and 3D graphics into video editing to produce a final product. Utilizes audio/video equipment in the studio and on location. Must have working knowledge of audio/video lighting, camera shooting and interview employment.Desired: Prefer applicant to have prior military service in the Army or Army National Guard. Other service affiliations are a plus.
