WPS SUPERVISOR

This position, located in Lebanon, NH manages the Warehouse, Packing and Shipping operations for the Lebanon facility.  The role has overall responsibility for receiving, shipping, material stores, transportation and inventory control.  Supervises processing, packaging, shipping of products to internal and external customers.  Accountable for the management of 10 to 20 associates including hiring, training, performance reviews and issues resolution. Develop and implement feedforward processes to eliminate bottleneck issues and maximize product flow through the department.Ensure proper inventory control processes are in place by maintaining high level of cycle count accuracy across all materials.Monitor supplier delivery performance and work with Purchasing Manager to identify and drive corrective actions.Drive lean workflow concepts in support of overall facility strategy while instilling a continuous improvement methodology.Leverage organizational/ systems thinking to develop and implement software based tools and reports to improve department efficiencies.Implement and own KPIs across all three departments that support customer service and business plan targets.Manage all areas of transportation including safety, DOT, Customs, DFAR and other government and corporate regulations and policies.Required: Associates Degree in Business, Mfg or similar discipline with 10 years experience5 years of direct supervisory experience 5 years experience in distribution or warehousing in an industrial environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage and implement change Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate workforce Computer skills & experience with ERP systems Desired:Bachelors Degree in Business, Mfg, Engineering or similar discipline with 7 years experience.Experience dealing with governement regulations APICS certification (CPIM) Watch our video to  learn more about us. www.timken.com
