Position: Director of Sales and Marketing

Reports to Company President

 

A.Contracted Business

1.  New Business Solicitation.

2.  Maintain Sales Volume.

3.  Grow Sales Volume.

4.  Maintain Profit Margin.

5.  Contracts

a. Negotiations.

b.  Contract Compliance.

c. Make Improvements.



B. Customer Service:

1.  Assure Customer Specifications.

2.  Transportation.

a. Timeliness.

b.  Delivery Cost Recovery

3.  Resolution of Customer Complaints.

4.  Monitor Delivery Quality of Product 
5.  AR resolution (Timely).

6.  Unearned Discount resolution (Minimize).

7.  Bad Debts/Claims resolution (Minimize).

8.  Make certain  invoicing data for accounting is correct..

 

C. Marketing:

  1. Develop and  Submit Annual Marketing as Requested..

  2. Direct and Supervise  implementation of Annual Marketing Plan.

 3. Develop and submit annual customer visitation calendar.

  4. Coordinate Technical Service visits with follow-up.

  5. Provide Customer Sales Reports to Senior Staff and Account Reps.

 

D. Department Management

1.Database Management

2. Staff Development and Empowerment.

a. Hire new staff members as authorized.

b. Release staff members as approved.

c. Monitor effectiveness of staff.

d. Provide Acct. Reps. Direct customer exposure.

e. Hold Acct. Reps. Accountable through Performance Management.

f.  Chair weekly meetings with documentation and accountability.

g. Provide weekly summary report to president.
