ENGINEER UTILITY/ELECTRICAL

Our highly capable engineering department seeks out new equipment solutions or designs what we need in-house. The energy for our processing facilities is provided in part via our five acres of solar panels - the largest private solar energy field in the country. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The UTILITY ENGINEER position is responsible for insuring our plants are supplied with electric, gas and water utility. Responsibilities include the construction of new systems as well as developing and maintaining standards, including, but not limited to preventive maintenance schedules, types of equipment to install and training in-house staff how to use and maintain these systems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 Knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code)

 Ability to perform calculations on each of the three utility types in terms of new construction.

 Good written and oral communication skills required.
