$3,437 - $5,026/Month

This employment opportunity is with the Public Health Division, which is part of the Department of Human Services (DHS).  There is one full-time opening in the Drinking Water Program.  A union represents this position.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

This position requires a minimum of three years of experience in a Natural Resource Program.  At least one year of the experience must be at a technical or professional level performing activities in a natural resource program such as researching and analyzing data, conducting investigations, applying pertinent laws and regulations, or coordinating and monitoring project activities; AND

 

A Bachelor's of Science degree in a related field; OR three additional years of related pertinent experience.

 

A Master's degree in Science will substitute for up to one year of the required experience.

 

A Doctorate degree in Science will substitute for up to two years of the required experience.

 

To receive credit for all required/related coursework, a photocopy of your transcripts with the course clearly marked is required.  If the courses are not marked no credit will be given.

 

NOTE:  Candidates that are certified as a public water system operator with WD-3 or WT-3 or greater level certification or able to obtain WD-3 or WT-3 certification within six months- must maintain current registration or certification; or sanitarian registered in Oregon; or professional civil or environmental engineer or engineer-in-training registered in Oregon are desired.

 Describe your experience with applying federal and state regulations in the field
