Lawn care Specialist/Springfield

The Lawn Care Specialist will report to the Operations Manager / Branch Leader / Lawn Care Manager. The responsibilities and duties of this position include the following:

 

Requirements:Obtain and possess current pesticide certifications that are required by governing state’s laws Possess a Drivers license to operate motor vehicle in governing state At least 1-2 years experience in turf applications and maintenance or certification in turf managment  Integrity: show up for work, keep your word, don’t cut corners, tell the truth and take pride in doing the best job possible. Hygiene: Maintaining a clean shaven appearance and or well groomed beard clean clothing and good personal hygiene habits. Be ready and willing to work as much overtime as needed to get the job done when asked by his or her supervisor. ( this is a seasonal job ) Maintain and consistently wear proper PPE personal protective equipment and appropriate seasonal clothing. Be able to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and simple geometry calculations. Read and comprehend English and technical product labels. Write legibly and concisely Be comfortable interacting with customers in a respectful manner. Manage the daily paper work and use of products and technical materials needed to perform there daily routes. Communicate twice daily am & pm with their supervisor any customer concerns, problems with equipment changes in square footage of property needed inventory etc… Participate the Self Directed Advancement Program for LC staff Daily maintenance, operation and care of SavaLawn equipment and vehicles Attend weekly LC meeting to monitor production and goals Check in LCS’ at the end of the day Participate in sales activities as required  Participate in winter training All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
