MECHANICAL DRAFTER/DESIGNER

Job Purpose:

Design and create 3D solid models of new and existing agricultural products that we manufacture. Prepare shop drawings, prepare drawings for customers and develop bill of materials. A strong working knowledge of Autodesk inventor a plus.  Will accept a person will strong skills in sold works.



Duties:

 

*Work with supervisors to design and develop new products and variations of existing products.

* Prepares supporting information by developing bills of materials; standard parts, and fasteners.

* Modifies drawings by analyzing, resolving, and incorporating changes

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.


* Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

*A working knowledge of Pronest nesting software a plus



Skills/Qualifications:


High School Diploma (Associates Degree in CAD Prefered)

3+ years experience in Autocad Inventor/Solid Works

Agricultural Background a plus

Other computers skills such as word, excel needed
