Management Forester
Management Forester to work with our landowner clients.
Required qualifications:
- Experience in and knowledge of forest management functions such as reforestation (including various site-prep regimes), fertilization, management plans, Tree Farm and/or Treasure Forest certifications, etc.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in timber cruising and timber appraisals.
- GIS and other computer skills - particularly in ArcView GIS products and GPS mapping.
Desired (but not required) qualifications:
- Registered Forester in Alabama or degree from an SAF-accredited four-year forestry school (we strongly desire this qualification).
- Certified Wildlife Biologist.
- Real Estate Salesperson License.
