Operations Manager

Come Grow With Us! We are growing and are currently seeking an Operations Manager to manage day-to-day operations and our specialized field crews in our Bedford Hills, NY location.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the productivity and overall efficiency of the branch. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day and field operations, ensure uncompromising customer services and initiate training and development programs.

Operations responsibilities:
* Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate field personnel
* Monitor and enforce all safety and quality control standards
* Resolve operational problems on a daily basis
* Coordinate training and ensure that field personnel are properly trained, licensed, etc.

Administration:
* Process paperwork accurately and timely in accordance with company standards

Requirements:
- Degree in Arboriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Plant Science, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Business


- 2-4 years experience

- have arboricultural experience
- be knowledgeable of plant health care and IPM
- demonstrate strong leadership abilities
- have managed field specialists
- be attentive and a good listener
- love the outdoors and nature
