Responsibilities Include:· Accountable for complete ownership of revenue and margin for various Depot and Ship Direct product lines offered to CNH dealers. · Establish direct communications with dealer network and Parts Sales and Service Managers to obtain market intelligence. · Utilize marketing tools (sales programs, promotional materials, and product offering) to grow revenue and margin. · Provide necessary analysis and recommendations to management on competitive activities, industry directions, and dealer / customer requirements with regard to the products handled. · Develop field training programs and parts information / application reference materials to ensure product success in the market. · Make recommendations for product expansions or deletions, while assessing the necessary engineering, sales, marketing, and vendor impacts of such recommendations. · Evaluate Direct Ship programs based on profitability, freight costs, ordering parameters, sales potential, supplier performance, and product quality. · Coordinate activities with pricing analysts to complete part number set-up, changes, and pricing levels (Cost, Dealer Net and List) to maximize margin dollars · Participate in strategic marketing planning for the growth of parts sales through the CNH dealer organization - Development and implementation of a marketing strategy for various Depot and Ship Direct product lines, which will increase parts sales revenues and margins for all CNH brands.
- Excellent communication skills; successfully execute projects within a difficult time frame.
- Be able to work within a matrix environment to successfully achieve operating results across all North America commercial regions (Agricultural & Construction).
- Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of dealers, customers, and company employees is critical.
- Must be able to utilize CNH systems (and industry sources) to analyze price, sales volume histories, and gross margin impacts for proposed actions.
Job Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or Engineering required.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience including a minimum of 3 years in parts & service areas required.
- Technical aptitude and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to organize product launch materials for successful implementation of time critical programs.- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. - Candidate should have a marketing, product support and/or sales background with strong financial / analytical capabilities.
- Experience with new product launches and/or parts operations would be beneficial. - Agricultural and/or Construction experience would be beneficial. CNH is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
