Pilgrim's Pride is seeking a Production Accounting Clerk III for our Marshville, NC facility. This position performs complex clerical accounting duties that require a solid understanding of accounting office practices and procedures. Requires knowledge of a wide variety of prescribed accounting codes and classifications in order to select appropriate procedures for application to the specific accounting transaction. Performs accounting support functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related financial area. Duties include general scheduling, etc.

Basic Responsibilities:
- Performs data entry of scale tickets into Excel and SAP.
- Performs data entry of USDA condemn certificated into Excel and SAP.
- Reconciles and balances data entered into SAP.
- Performs data entry for daily, weekly and monthly production reports.
- Assists with monthly and yearly inventory audits.
- Performs related tasked as assigned by Accounting Manager.
- Develops external contacts for the purposes of obtaining, verifying, or providing information concerning accounting documents.
- May be required to travel.
- May require availability outside of normal business hours.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of Accounting clerk experience required in a related field.
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing fiscal record keeping.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. (Word, Excel, etc)
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners.

Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED; Associates Degree preferred.
