Indiana Farm Bureau is interested in filling a Regional Manager opening on the Organizational Development Team. Working as part of a multi-member team, you will function in leadership development, program evaluation and implementation, membership acquisition and retention, and information transfer by assisting Indiana Farm Bureau teams, and county and district Farm Bureau leaders within the framework of the organization's strategic plan. This position will be home-based with responsibilities in southwestern Indiana, encompassing Dubois, Gibson, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick counties.Required Skills



Applicants should possess experience working with volunteers, a basic knowledge of management techniques, strong research and excellent communication and facilitation skills. We prefer the following qualifications: a bachelors degree in agriculture, education, or communications and/or three years experience in a related field, a general knowledge of non-profit associations, agriculture and Farm Bureau.


You must demonstrate a consistently positive attitude and be willing to work creatively, both independently and in a team environment. You will work directly with Farm Bureau leaders, staff and affiliate interests in providing a wide variety of programs and resources. You must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and administer multiple priorities. Regular travel is required including work performed outside of normal business hours. Some travel will involve overnight stay.
