Open Position: Repack Line Supervisor

 

Job Description: Ensures proper product is being usedCommunicate with Management to meet daily volume needsEnsure all grade outs are being strictly followedMinimize product grade out while meeting specsMaximizes what is graded out for highest resale valueEnsure packing quality and customer specs are being metTraining and enforcing customer specifications to line workers.Monitor section employee attendance and tardiness.Maintain proper production procedures. Maximizes productivity. Maintain and enforce organization, health and food safety policies.Maintains accurate production reporting.Set-up product and supplies for production line.Excellent organizational skills and continually multi-taskAbility to coordinate and drive projects to completion. Team member attitude.Must be able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision in fast paced environment.Conduct other duties as assignedAssist Repack Group management staff with labor costing, grade-outs and maintain key databases.

 

Job Requirements:Repack or processing experienceMust pass Drug Test and Background Check High School Diploma; Degree preferredTime management skillsProficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees and external contacts.Must have at least 4 years supervisory experienceWillingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integritySpanish as a second language would be an asset. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required Highly proficient in computer-use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job Organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.  Need to be creative, adaptable and able to accurately handle out-of-the-ordinary issues with a sense of urgency.  Working knowledge of local, state and federal laws and requirements to maintain compliance to all relevant statues and guiding principles (FDA, USDA, MIOSHA, OSHA, CFIA)Need to be fluent in 5S, ISO/TS16949, Root Cause Analysis, and be safety conscience.
