Senior Agriculture Research Associate- Slater, IA

 

 

 

Accountabilities –

 This critical position will provide technical assistance, as well as site management support, for our Research Station in Slater, Iowa. In a highly team-oriented environment, this position will manage yield trials, crop destruct locations and assist in managing summer and winter nurseries.  Responsibilities also include working with growers and co-operators with site selection, performing hands-on field operations and operation of research farm equipment.  This person will also provide day-to-day guidance to other personnel, and will analyze/interpret results and prepare data summaries.

 

 

 

Knowledge, experience & capabilities –

 BS degree in related field along with a minimum of 3 years experience working in a corn breeding program Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to work independently in a fast paced team environmentStrong computer skills in MS Office are essential.
