SYSTEMS ENGINEER - PLATFORMS

We are looking for an individual with 1 – 4 years experience to integrate automated steering and precision agricultural technologies into agricultural equipment. The work includes designing mounting brackets, hydraulic installations, defining electrical interfaces, documenting installation procedures, and verifying performance. Experience in hydraulics, and agricultural equipment use a big plus. Requirements: 1) BSME or BSAgrE or equivalent 4-year technical degree. 2) Interest in gaining hands-on experience designing automotive, agricultural, or construction equipment or subsystems. Experience with it a plus. 3) Interest in designing, testing and troubleshooting complicated systems that include mechanical, electrical and software portions. Experience with it a plus. 4) Ability to work with field personnel and customers. 5) Ability to predict and meet own schedules. 6) Desire to work with hydraulic systems. Experience trouble shooting or designing hydraulic systems, a plus. 7) Ability to use tools for fabricating brackets and hoses. Ability to install and rework various system components for development purposes. 8) Familiarity with operating Agricultural vehicles, a plus. 9) Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 10) Ability to travel 25-50%.
