Sales Representative

Synagro manages the biosolids generated by publicly and privately owned treatment works, industrial generators such as pulp/paper, food processing and textile mills.  Among the many services we provide our customers are land application, dredging, dewatering, transportation, lime stabilization, incineration, drying, composting and product marketing.

 

We are currently seeking a Sales Representative for our corporate office located in the Galleria area.  This position will assist in researching potential customers, assist with generating sales and develop monthly marketing and sales reports.  This position will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

 

The Sales Representative responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

·  Intense research on potential customers using internet, networking, etc.

·  Educate potential customers about our company and how we can assist them.

·  Assist Sales Department to develop new business/projects by presenting the findings of research.

·Provide superior customer service to seek customer needs, issues and opportunities.

·  Follow-up pro-actively and timely with potential customers.

·  Serve as a liaison between sales department and IT to better enhance information retrieval & reporting.

·  Prepare high-quality communications and special presentations to senior executives, operational leaders and Sales Department.

Skills and Abilities:

 

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related subject required.

·  Must have 4 – 7 years of related experience.

·  Excellent customer service, ability to follow-up timely and must be pro-active.

·  Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

·  Experience in any type of sales database/reporting systems.

·  Ability to work independently as well as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·  Ability work evenings and weekends when required.

·  Must be able to Travel when required.
