Seed Technician - Paid Internship Opportunity!

Kelly Scientific Resources is seeking several Seed Technicians for BASF Plant Science in Ames, Iowa. Full time or part time positions available. The positions are first shift (8:00am - 4:30pm), however overtime and/or weekend work may be required. There are two start dates, June 16 or July 7. All positions anticipated to end on August 8. If you are a college student working on a science degree you may be eligible to participate in our scholarship essay contest!Duties may include, but are not limited to the following activities:- planting - weeding- tissue sampling - detasseling - pollinating - hand harvesting - seed counting and discard- shelling - general cleaning - data entry - other seed related activities as neededRequirements:- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (i.e. rain, heat, humidity, cold) and must be able to work around corn pollen- Overtime and/or weekends are required during peak seasons Please apply on-line if interested.
