Shipping & Receiving Supervisor - 2nd shift

Calavo Growers, Inc. The qualified individual will be responsible for all shipping functions on the 2nd shift including but not limited to preparation of goods and fruit for shipping, evaluation of fruit received and shipped, keeping current inventories of fruit and supplies and directing subordinate employees.  Degree preferred but not required or a combination of education and work experience.  Five+ years experience in shipping and inventory control preferably in the produce industry, previous supervisory experience, highly developed skills in the areas of organization, communication (both English and Spanish preferred), problem resolution and customer service skills, working knowledge of MS software and previous experience working with inventory specific software programs.
